Let us be Entertained

Image result for elfI consider myself to be someone who is highly appreciative of the entertainment industry, be it films, series, commercials, music or novels I'm drawn to the feeling and emotions they evoke and the techniques used to evoke them.  As winter is slowly creeping in, with each day getting shorter and colder, people tend to feel more inclined to spend their days cuddled up in front of the TV watching their favorite movie or TV shows. 

Right now, most people are preparing themselves for the festive season, and the entertainment industry plays a huge part in the excitement surrounding this time of year.  TV screens are filled with commercials, artists release new holiday albums, shows contain a 
holiday feature and everyone's favorite holiday classics are brought back to life.  In fact Hallmark Channel released their annual "Countdown to Christmas holiday movie event" which began on October 27th and will end on January 1st 2019 airing a total of 22 original Christmas films to, according to executive producer Michelle Vicary "make viewers feel better".  

As the melodious voice of Michael Buble's popular Christmas hits become more prevalent, I can safely say 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas'.
